The Wood River Farmers Markets offer seasonally available and locally grown fruits and vegetables, organic and grass-fed meats, artisan pies, and other baked goods, honey, specialty products including jams and fermented foods, plant starts for your garden, jewelry, crafts, fresh-cut flowers, and much more! 6/1: Papoose Club Plant Extravaganza
The Papoose Club first started selling plants on vacant lots in Ketchum back in 1961. Initially volunteers trucked plants up from afar, but with the growing popularity of the event, Papoose Club began to collaborate with local gardening businesses. Learn More »
6/22: Sun Valley Brewfest
Over the past 10 years, the Sun Valley Brewfest has built a regionally recognized event raising more than $100,000 for local charities, including giving away over $15,000 in college scholarships annually. Learn More »
6/20-23 Sawtooth Valley Gathering
SVG brings some of the best songwriters and musicians to the stage at the foot of the majestic Sawtooth Mountains creating a spirit and vibe like no other. With several venues, including three outdoor stages, late-night shows at the Mountain Village Resort’s Velvet Falls Dance Hall, and the Kasino Club, along with DJs and other performers, SVG is a one-of-a-kind experience. Hailey, Idaho, offers up perhaps the most quintessential small town 4th of July celebration in the West. In fact, the Los Angeles Times called out Hailey as one of the best places in the US to find "maximum fun for your Fourth of July." The Hailey Days of the Old West celebration, around July 4th, offers up a fun and unique parade with colorful entries, plenty of horses and a Road Apple Roulette, antique market, pancake breakfast, live music and a spectacular fireworks display.

7/18-20: Sun Valley Tour de Force
The 7th Annual Sun Valley Tour de Force on July 18-20, 2024 is a weekend of epic proportions for car lovers of all ages. Eight events take place over the course of three days. The signature event of the weekend is the ‘NO SPEED LIMIT’ high speed runs at Phantom Hill. Located in the heart of the Sawtooth National Recreation Area, 3.2 miles of state highway becomes a no-speed limit zone. For one day only, drivers are allowed to put their machines to the ultimate test. 7/26-28: Sturtevants' Standhope Ultra Challenge
A very difficult and exceptionally beautiful run through the Pioneer Mountains. Entrants will reach a high point of 11,000′ during the course of the race. Entry should NOT be taken lightly. This race is an excellent trainer for any high-altitude 50 or 100 miler. Learn More »

Taking place in beautiful Atkinson Park in downtown Ketchum, the festival welcomes over 100 professional artists and craftspeople to the Wood River Valley. This festival is a juried, outdoor, fine arts and crafts show that is completely free and open to the public. 8/15-17: Annual Killebrew-Thompson Memorial Golf Tournament
Enjoy a fun-filled weekend supporting a worthy cause. What began as a golf tournament among friends has expanded beyond the golf course into a four-day affair showcasing the best of Sun Valley. The traditional event lineup includes an Idaho Welcome BBQ, Live & Silent Auction Gala, Concert for a Cure, and outdoor activities that include fly fishing, sport shooting, horseback riding, and whitewater rafting. Labor Day Weekend: Wagon Days
In 1958, a few hundred spectators attended what would grow to become one of the largest non-motorized parades in the Pacific Northwest - The Wagon Days Big Hitch Parade! Today, over fifteen thousand people flock to Ketchum to watch this historical parade and celebrate the western heritage it represents. The parade features buggies, carriages and wagons, with the grand finale being the Lewis Ore Wagons and the Big Hitch. Learn More »

The 51st annual Zions Bank Boulder Mountain Tour will take place in Ketchum, Idaho, February 1-3.The premier cross country race in the Western United States, the Tour is staged on the historic Harriman Trail located in the pristine Sawtooth National Forest Area.
